The right moment.
It all began in March 2022, on a six-hour journey home from Expoóptica, one of the most important events in the Spanish optical industry.
Our story
After more than ten years of experience in the optical world, Luca, Judith and Mireia shared the same ambition: to give shape to their own vision of eyewear design and start a project that reflects their way of understanding fashion, quality and the optical industry.
It was on that journey that the idea of creating KAYROS was born.
Its name, inspired by the Greek concept of the right moment, captured exactly what they were living through: the instant when an idea becomes a decision that can change everything.
What started as an enthusiastic conversation soon became a project. Then came the first sketches, ideas about shapes and colours, the search for materials and the definition of an identity of its own.
That initiative gave rise to a new way of working and of understanding eyewear, with the design and personality of each frame at its heart.

KAMALA is part of the evolution of that project.
It keeps the passion for the optical industry and the care for the product that drove its beginnings, but develops an aesthetic identity of its own: more refined, contemporary and focused on the value of details.
Today, KAMALA represents our commitment to a way of understanding eyewear in which design, quality and personal style matter more than passing trends.

At KAMALA we believe the difference lies in every small detail.

Acetate and titanium
Materials are a fundamental part of how we understand design.
We work with high-quality acetate, a material that lets us explore volumes, textures, transparencies and colour combinations. Its versatility makes it possible to create frames that stand out for the depth of their colours and the personality of their shapes.
Titanium, for its part, allows us to create light, strong glasses with precise lines. It is especially suited to designs that combine a refined look with everyday comfort.
